New discoveries

Last month I rediscovered George Michels "Going to a town".
This morning Brandi Carlile "The story".

I feel spiritually connected to these songs. And that makes me want to reach deep into myself to find out why.

The story, starts with
"all of these lines across my face, tell the story of who I am and where I have been.

My face is scarred from an outbreak of the shingles.
Something I am just now recovering from.

So it's probably understandable that the song would resonate with something deep right now.

I was in Ghana when it turned into full blown case of head shingles. I had no idea what was going on and I must say it was quite traumatic.

Looked horrible.
