The robot overlords will replace the human ones

There are many cases to deploy machine learning to improve our lives but there are some scary pitfalls to avoid.
Your credit rating and eligibility for a job or your kid's acceptance into college could very soon be determined by your Ai determined score. The algorithm would take all the usual factors into account but would have access to your online presence every public posting, your financial and social data as well as the location data collected by your phone and health data provided by your fitness tracker.
We might just find ourselves banging our heads against an unfeeling algorithm that literally shapes our lives based on the numbers.
Everyone knows we have all messed up and fallen down and dragged our selves back to the straight and narrow.
To have humans in charge means to be judged by an equally flawed person who will take pity on us. A person who is able to see the possibility of redemption in us.
The humanity we depend on could be the first casualty in our new world. Our choice of YouTube video while growing up could pigeon hole us for life. The club we frequent, or the company we keep, might lower our score, in the ultimate game of life. Our spiking heart rate at certain times could make us a higher risk, flagged as a possible drug abuser.
One would think that there would be regulation to protect us from this, but sadly there isn't. Not just yet. All the research has been focused on the consumerism benefits to mining big data and the ways we could use Ai to kill more efficiency.
There are a million things we need to talk about before we let the genie out of the bottle but as long as our human overlords continue to focus on selling us more shit we don't know that we need, we are doomed.
The robot overlords are coming and we need to be ready.
