It must be nice to blindly follow someone

I often wonder about Trump supporters and how they stand by him matter what he says or does.

Even when they hear him say stupid shit themselves, they still believe.

That must be nice.

To have total faith in another person.

Not like a spouse but a mentor, or cult leader, or the charismatic evangelist.

How nice and liberating it must be when life is simple and everything plays out according to a grand design.

To finally stop trying to find the meaning of it all. To know, with absolute certainty that things are just so, for a purpose. A higher purpose, that is higher than your pay grade. 

So you stay in your lane.

Would you ever wonder what,  was on the other side?
