Hawa's wisdom

Hawa and I were discussing what it means to be alive. 

We discussed how any virus that  can't reproduce by itself, technically isn't alive. 

She gave it some thought and came back with, 'girls can make babies so they must be alive, but boys can't so how can we consider them alive'. 

When I pointed out that the boy and girl have to get married first before they are blessed with a baby she accepted that, but I could see the wheels turning in her head. 

Soon she fired back with, 'what about a husband and wife who can't have children? Are they alive?'. 

I had nothing to say.
