Beauty, just under the surface

I take pictures everywhere I go.

Whenever I see something that I want to remember, moments that I need to freeze in time I reach for my phone or camera.

Since my work takes me to the literal corners of Africa and my play takes me everywhere else my pictures are a really good mix of cultures.

Over the years I am constantly amazed at how I end up uncovering things of great beauty. 

Just under the surface.

It's clear that if you are looking for beauty and art, you will find it.

Anywhere and everywhere.

The converse of this is probably true.

If you go out of your way to underline the dirt and disarray, you will no doubt find that too.
